Shakir Yasin

As President and Founder of Embassy Homes, Shakir Yasin has built his career on entrepreneurship, strategic growth, and a commitment to creating long-term value for both clients and the communities he serves.

With more than three decades of entrepreneurial experience, Shakir has successfully established and grown businesses across multiple industries. His entrepreneurial journey began with Dandy’s Restaurant, a well-known London establishment recognized for its exceptional quality and customer experience, becoming a local favourite and earning recognition among Ontario’s top burger destinations.

Building on that success, Shakir expanded into the financial services industry, obtaining his FINTRAC registration and establishing a successful international money transfer business that has assisted individuals and families in securely transferring funds around the world. Through these ventures, he developed an extensive professional network and earned a reputation for integrity, reliability, and strong business leadership throughout the London community.

Driven by a vision to contribute to the region’s continued growth, Shakir founded Embassy Homes with the goal of delivering thoughtfully designed, high-quality residential developments built on craftsmanship, transparency, and lasting relationships. Under his leadership, the company has experienced significant growth and has established itself as one of Southwestern Ontario’s emerging residential developers, with an expanding portfolio of successful projects and a reputation for quality construction.

Today, Shakir continues to lead the strategic direction of both Embassy Homes and Embassy Construction, overseeing business development, investment strategy, project acquisition, and long-term corporate growth. His entrepreneurial mindset, industry relationships, and commitment to excellence continue to position the organization for sustained success across residential, commercial, and public-sector construction.

The Honourable Joe Fontana

Joe Fontana brings more than four decades of executive, municipal, provincial, and federal leadership experience in government, housing, economic development, and business.

Throughout his distinguished career, Joe has served as a London City Councillor, Controller for the City of London, Member of Parliament for nearly 18 years, Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister (Science and Small Business), Canada’s Minister of Labour and Housing, and Mayor of the City of London. In addition to his public service, he has held executive leadership positions in the insurance, property management, and renewable energy sectors.

His extensive experience in municipal, provincial, and federal government provides Embassy Homes and Embassy Construction with valuable strategic insight into community development, housing initiatives, infrastructure planning, and public-sector procurement. Joe plays an important role in identifying growth opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and supporting the company’s expansion into both private and public construction projects.

Michael Owsiak

Michael brings more than 15 years of experience in residential real estate, property management, business development, and financial services.

Having built his career in both Toronto and London, Michael has extensive expertise managing large residential portfolios, overseeing leasing operations, tenant relations, maintenance, financial performance, and day-to-day operational management.

His background combines practical operational leadership with strong business development and client relationship management, helping Embassy Homes deliver exceptional customer service while supporting the continued growth of Embassy Construction. Michael also plays a key role in project operations, strategic planning, business development, and building lasting relationships with clients, investors, and industry partners.
